Farmer Due Diligence & Underwriting Webinar – March 2023

Claire Mesesan, VP of Farmer Relations, and Alyssa Scher, Credit Manager, lead a lively discussion about the farmer due diligence and underwriting processes at Iroquois Valley. Topics include: walking through how a new farmer moves through the pipeline, discussing the criteria developed to enable socially disadvantaged farmers to more readily access financing, and addressing how due diligence may lead to “not moving forward” with a farmer.

Join us for a fascinating conversation with Dr. Christy Morrissey from the University of Saskatchewan! She shares her research on the problem of pesticide threats to birds and aquatic biodiversity. Dr. Morrissey is a Canadian eco-toxicologist with an extensive and prolific background, including being elected to the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.
